MixVibes is proud to announce a major upgrade of CROSS, the solution for professional DJs. This new version 1.6 includes a great deal of new hot features.
Here at MixVibes, we believe that preparation is key to a successful DJing performance. We have therefore improved the design of our collection tool and the media management systems in CROSS. It has never been easier to get started with is new version of CROSS. Beginners and such star DJ’s as Dee Nasty use it every day for there enjoyment and professional performances.

The media browsing section, located on dock, is now fully customizable in order to quickly access and browse through tunes or playlists. We’ve also add an album navigation system for quick visual browsing through your collection. You can operate these tools using a keyboard or a controller and enjoy the new multi-criteria search engine to find specific tracks in no time.
CROSS includes a brand new playlists management feature. You can use the prepare tab to label and choose which tracks you would like to play during your gig. The history function allows you to keep track of all the tunes and sessions that have been played on CROSS. CROSS now keeps detailed record of every track you play during a session. Thanks to that, you can go back to the highlights of your performance and keep a precise track list record.
CROSS features a one-of-a-kind “Playlist Tool” called SmartLists. This powerful tool uses a custom search filter that automatically sorts tracks into playlists. Forty criteria are available to choose from. Select which ones define best your playlists (BPM, genre, year ...). These playlists are instantly and dynamically updated according to criteria and automatically completed when new music is added in the collection.
CROSS makes media management easy by allowing edits on the fly of all the tracks information (tags). DJs with a photographic memory can also label songs with color markers and use colors as a search criteria.
Last but not least, CROSS now includes a visual indicator of media quality based on the bitrate. Now, you can see the quality of all media in your collection and hence avoid playing poor media.
In short, the new CROSS not only maintains the highest standards in Digital DJing software but also pushes even further the limit of ease of use, quality, and relevance for all DJs.
