When I did finally give Monster Beats by Dr. Dre a try, I was actually very impressed by the excellent sound quality. In further researching what Beats are all about, I’ve found that Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, record producer and current chairman/CEO of Interscope Geffen A&M Records, paired up to make Beats in order to put high quality audio, music sounding they way artists intended it to sound, back out on the streets.
